Transportation
EMOTS (out of the area medical transportation) is available on a first
come, first serve basis. Transportation, including personalized
assistance, is available Monday – Friday for individuals as well as a
family member or aide to out of the area medical appointments. A wheelchair
accessible van is also available. Locations include Yale-New Haven, L &
M, Middlesex, Hartford, St. Francis and other out of the area hospitals as
well as medical offices for MRI, dialysis, chemotherapy, dental and other
medical services.
The suggested donation request is $25. No one will be denied services based on ability to pay. Please call Judy at 388-1611 as soon as your appointment is made so your trip can be accommodated. A monthly donation request will be mailed to the individual or a responsible party. Please have all information including the name, address, and phone number of the facility as well as the date and time of the appointment.
